Welcome!

Hey, it’s not a bug - it’s a feature!

This is the other Oracle blog, one dedicated to Oracle eBusiness Applications. Why start a blog about Oracle Applications? I remember the feeling when working with the apps was fun and exciting. I want to keep that feeling alive! It started as personal repository of Oracle links and resources I accumulated over the years and I hope to make it useful to other people in this business who will, hopefully, return the favor. Plus, nobody writes reviews about Oracle Applications!

I would like to provide an alternative platform for in-depth, un-biased reviews and analysis of the current Oracle Applications releases and features. An opportunity to share knowledge and resources, voice opinions and show a little attitude! I plan to do that by seeking out a diverse group of Oracle professionals - users, consultants, managers, business analysts with a lot of Oracle expertise and excellent writing skills who are passionate about the applications and motivated to share their experiences.

I want this blog to be useful to other people in the Oracle community, provide a productive feedback to Oracle program managers and developers who design the applications, a “second opinion” for clients who buy them, a sounding board for consultants and business analysts who implement, and last but not least, a valuable resource for users who use them every day. I promise no sales pitches, no bragging, no censorship, only a practical “open-source” advice. Lofty goals, eh? I can’t believe I just promised all that.

I hope you’ll have a reason to link or visit this blog frequently and find it useful and entertaining. Come back soon!
